  House Rules for N.S. Firefighter’s Weekly 50-50 - AGD-305892-23

• The draws will be held on Thursdays at 9:00 PM at the Amherst Fire Station, 62 Albion St., Amherst, NS. The lottery is licensed to the Amherst Fire Fighters’ Association.
• Players must be an individual, a resident of Nova Scotia and at least 19 years of age to purchase. A Nova Scotia drivers license or ID card will be used to determine residency. Only one name is to be entered on a lottery ticket, and only one person is to win the prize.
• The draw will take place using the approved & certified Rafflebox Random Number Generator (RNG).
• All tickets purchased before Monday at 11:59 PM are eligible for the weekly Early Bird prize of $1,000. The winning ticket number will be posted by noon Tuesday and these tickets are still valid for Thursday’s jackpot draw.
• There are no restrictions regarding the purchase of tickets by members of any sponsoring organization or their families.
• There is no minimum number of tickets that must be sold.
• Only 1 winning ticket number will be produced for each of the Early Bird and jackpot draws.
• The jackpot winning prize will be a cash prize equal to 50% of the gross sales.
• If the winner of either prize cannot be located after 90 days and all attempts to locate have failed, then another winner will be drawn at that time in a second draw.
• Following the payment of the 50% cash prize, the licensee will award a $1,000 bonus to the agency/FD chosen by the winner “in support of” that draw.

Absolutely no refunds after the draw has been completed.

• The draws will be held Thursdays at 9:30 PM at the Amherst Fire Station, 62 Albion St., Amherst, NS.
• Players must be an individual, a resident of Nova Scotia and at least 19 years of age to purchase. A Nova Scotia drivers license or ID card will be used to determine residency.
• In order to be eligible for the Bonus draws, a player must first purchase a ticket in the main 50-50 draw.
• The cost of the Bonus tickets are 3 for $5 or 10 for $10.
• The draw will take place using the approved & certified Rafflebox Random Number Generator (RNG).
• The 5 winning ticket numbers will be posted by noon Friday.
• There are no restrictions regarding the purchase of tickets by members of any sponsoring organization or their families.
• There is no minimum number of tickets that must be sold.
• Only 5 winning ticket numbers will be produced for the Bonus draws.
• The 5 Bonus winning prizes will be a cash prize of $1,000 each.
• If the winner of any prize cannot be located after 90 days and all attempts to locate have failed, then another winner will be drawn at that time in a second draw.
